Unity Blog Hop April 2017!

We’re hopping with Unity Stamp Company today—woo-hoo!!

I got a few graduation projects and a canvas I’ve been working on using a couple new stamp sets, the NEW Kit of the Month, and NEW Sentiment Kit from Unity Stamp Company.

Let’s get to the graduation projects I’ve been working on.

I photo-pieced Kelli’s (from Unity Stamp Company) daughter, Kennedy, into the face of one of the new sets by Angie Blom, “Graduation Wishes”, and made the above card. Kennedy recently had her senior portraits done and what PERFECT timing! I’d be so tickled if I were a senior in high school who was graduating and received this from my parents. It’s just so personalized.
Here’s a peek at the inside of the above card using a sentiment from, “You Did Good”.

Look! Kennedy is on a tag, too. This time, I added the flower image and sentiment from the NEW Sentiment Kit. Maybe you could use this tag to hang on a graduation present or as another creative way to convey just how proud you are of your graduate. Hang it from their door knob, place it in the refrigerator, put it in their car, SURPRISE them! This will be the only time in their lives that they will be graduating from high school. Help them enjoy it.

PLANNERS!! I thought it would be a nifty idea to make a reminder divider for a planner. You could just send them out to friends and family. Maybe add more details regarding graduation plans/party, time, date, etc. The recipient could add it to their planners as a creative reminder of your graduate’s BIG day. What do you think?

Here’s a close-up. I also used the little birdie from this month’s Kit of the Month.

Lots of people are using planners these days and what an opportunity to grace their planners with some of your creativity and your graduate’s beaming face. Right? Right!

Here’s a look at all the sets I used on the above projects.

Lastly, here’s a 5-x-7-inch canvas I made using the girly-girl image from this month’s Kit of the Month (see above for the rest of the kit).

I stamped the images onto printed tissue paper, adhered it to the canvas using gel medium, colored the pretty girly-girl using distress paints and distress crayons, and then adhered a double die cut scallop frame to finish the piece. Ultrasimple and ultraloved when completed.
